Meaningful Travel

Ol Jogi offers an unparalleled experience of having your own private home in the middle of a 58,000 acre private conservancy, while their tourism profits are used to support their conservation efforts.

Local Knowledge

Ol Jogi is situated in Laikipia, a region known for having the most diverse species of large mammals on the planet. The result of these is amazing wildlife viewing experiences.

The possible experiences are endless, and the only limitation is your imagination. If a specific activity is not on the included list, with advance notice they are able to organise anything you can dream of.

Experiences

Ol Jogi has a diverse selection of experiences available to satisfy any age and interest. For guests interested to know more about the behind the scenes work of Conservation, Ol Jogi is the perfect place to do so.

For the adventurous crowd, there is endless possibilities, especially if you start including things such as helicopters and quad bikes.

Ol Jogi is one of the most remarkable private wildlife conservancies in Africa. Family-owned for over 40 years, it is a safe haven for the preservation and future development of Wildlife Conservation. Comprising 58,000 acres of unspoiled wildlife habitat in the Laikipia District of Kenya, the landscape startles and is unique in its diversity within Kenya.

Ol Jogi provides guests with a tailored experience where each of their individual requests and preferences are met. As wonderful and indulging as is Ol Jogi’s home, the real treasure lies in the untouched nature, the wildlife that unfolds before your eyes, and the freedom to do anything you wish within this magical setting.

Game drives and walks to see the Big 5, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, oryx, impala and eland, along with a diverse array of birdlife as well as rhino tracking and elephant interaction can be enjoyed. Other activities on site include horse riding, quad biking, gourmet picnics and night game drives. Scenic helicopter flights are also available for an additional charge.

The lodge comprises 11 bedrooms located inside several cottages in close proximity to each other. Around the home are many common spaces, from a billiards and games room to a pool and spa, a tennis court, underground wildlife viewing tunnel, a wine cellar, and many other surprises to discover.

Ol Jogi becomes your own exclusive home where your adventures are only limited by your imagination. During your stay, you will have a team of chefs at your disposal who will create dishes using fresh organic produce from the Ol Jogi vegetable garden. Children are welcomed and are ensured an experience to match their parents. Babysitting is available.

Why we love it

Feed the rhino

Visit the rhino orphanage, where you will come face to face with these remarkable species. You can tour the Veterinary Clinic and research centre and understand how they take wildlife orphans from captivity and reintroduce them back into their natural environment.

Walk with elephants

Bush walks and walks with elephants or semi-habituated baboons are all possible. Expect to be surprised with pop-up refreshments along the way!

Big 5 Encounters

Big Five experiences (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) are very possible at Ol Jogi. Endangered and threatened species such as Grevvy's zebra and African wild dog make a home here, and you may also see cheetah, reticulated giraffe, hyena, baboon, oryx, impala and eland to name a few; not to mention a diverse array of bird life.

Relax & Refresh

The Pool House lies in the tropical gardens and has an outdoor pool, spa, steam room, Hammam, sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness centre and yoga room.

Enjoy a relaxing massage or simply relax in the heated poo.
